The student will begin with a ready-made cube in which they will design an underwater scene. Included in this lesson is a handout with illustration of various marine lives for students who might need ideas. Students will use acrylic paint to produce the six-sided work, which will be sealed with acrylic sealer to make it durable and ready to take home.

August 15. Take-along Sketch Book. Students will discover the art of book-making. These books are a work of art in themselves. Students will leave with one fully functioning book each. The books can be used as sketch books, journals, address books or notebooks.
