Tickets are on sale now for the “Christmas in the Inlet” Holiday Home Tour which runs for one day only on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year’s tour features eight beautiful homes in historic Wachesaw Plantation, a private gated community overlooking the Waccamaw River in Murrells Inlet.The homes on the tour will offer up many varieties of local flavor. Advance tickets are $25. Ticket price includes admission into Wachesaw Plantation, the eight homes and a comfort stop at Kimbels overlooking the river. Lunch is not included in the price, but visitors can choose to stop at any of the fine Murrells Inlet restaurants in the area.
Advance tickets can be purchased at Conway National Bank, Lee’s Inlet Apothecary or Lee’s Inlet Kitchen in Murrells Inlet, Elizabeth Taylor Satterfield Interior Design in Pawleys Island, Rose Arbor Fabrics in Myrtle Beach or Bodega in Conway.
Tickets can also be purchased online at www.murellsinletsc.com or by calling Murrells Inlet 2020 at 843-357-2007. Ticket sales will be limited, so purchase your tickets early. Day-of tickets, while supplies last, will cost $30 each and will be available for purchase until noon on Dec. 10 at Lee’s Inlet Apothecary located at 3579 Highway 17 Business in Murrells Inlet.
Proceeds from the tour will benefit Murrells Inlet 2020, a local community revitalization non-profit organization founded in 1997 dedicated to making the Inlet a nice place to live, work and visit. Some of the group’s accomplishments include the Marshwalk, the East Coast Greenway bike lanes and Bike Bridge along Business 17, Volunteer Water Monitoring Program for the Inlet, environmental education, recycling programs, tourism promotion, improved signage and more.
