Billy Baldwin returns to serenade the Carolinas' vanishing world with his lyrical prose, poems and songs to accompany the moving photography of Selden B. Hill in "Unpainted South."
The Moveable Feast, a popular series of literary luncheons, each featuring an exciting author at different Waccamaw Neck restaurants, is held every Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Paid reservations are requested by the Wednesday prior to the feast; each feast is $25. Nov. 25 – Billy Baldwin (“Unpainted South”) at Inlet Affairs. William P. Baldwin is a lifelong resident of the Carolina Lowcountry. Over the years he has worked as a shrimper, a building contractor and most importantly a writer. He is the author of the well-received novel “The Hard to Catch Mercy” and has collaborated with N. Jane Iseley on several projects, including the original “Plantations of the Low Country: South Carolina 1697–1865.” He is co-author of “Mrs. Whaley and Her Charleston Garden” and Sister Peterkin’s “Heaven Is a Beautiful Place.”
