This year’s seventh annual St. Nicholas Winterfest in downtown Conway will run Dec. 8 to 10. There will be a host of holiday and festival foods including some of the best Bar-B-Que ever.
On Thursday Dec. 8 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. it’s Conway’s own “Taste of the Town” event where you can enjoy samples of Conway’s finest food and beverages with pricing starting as low as $1.
On Friday Dec. 9, don’t miss “Anything Butt Pork” Cook-Off (5 p.m. until all food is gone). Enjoy samples, vote for your favorite dish and meet the celebrity judges for $5.
On Saturday Dec. 10, the annual parade starts at 10 a.m. and then make time for the “Best Q in Conway” (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) BBQ Cook-Off, a fully SCBA sanctioned BBQ cook off. Come down to the Side Wheeler next to the Main St. Bridge. $10 to sample all you want.
Holiday arts and crafts vendors will be there Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Winterfest is a major fundraiser hosted by St Paul’s Episcopal Church Conway. Seven local charities including will receive financial support from the Winterfest events.
