“Belles: a play in two acts and 35 phone calls” by Mark Dunn will be presented by Murrills Inlet Theatre Group later this fall.
The comedy revolves around the six Walker sisters from Memphis, although they are now scattered all over the country except for Peggy who cares for Mama. Mama always seems to have one crisis after the other, so Peggy feels the need to keep her sisters apprised. The comedy unfolds as an intriguing story of vivid characters involving conflicts in the ensuing phone calls among the sisters.
“Belles” will run Nov. 10-12 and 17-19 at 8 p.m. with matinees at 2 p.m. on Nov. 13 and 20. For reservations, call 843-651-4152.
