St. Andrew’s Catholic School will present the twenty-eighth annual Taste of the Town at the Myrtle Beach Convention center on Tuesday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door. Over 50 Grand Strand restaurants will be competing for awards in dessert, entree, decor and other categories. Attendees will be able to purchase $1 coupons to taste the eateries’ many delicious offerings.
There will be live and recorded entertainment throughout the evening. A live performance of Dino’s TV Variety Show is set for 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.; UNI Elegant Jazz & Blues performs from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Between tastings, sit back and relax at the food and wine garden.
