Thanks for the review ... We also enjoyed our meal and margaritas last week at the newly re-opened Rosa Linda's. The outside bar is a particularly cool spot to watch live musice and drink the best margaritas in Myrtle Beach. We are making it a must-stop during our bar crawls along Murrells Inlet!

Jake was a good friend. Always enjoyed any time spent with him. His wife Sylvia is a sweetheart and the best wife anyone could have. He's a comrade in arms as I too spent over 20 years in service. The world lost a good man.

I have not seen this article and it was a pleasure to read.

The recent Alternatives article proclaiming South Carolina's 7th Congressional District as Democrat is WAY out of touch with reality! In the eight counties that comprise the district Sheheen (who lived in the region and rode Obama coattails) lost to Haley by 11,142 votes (6%). Obama lost to McCain by 21,168 votes (8%). SC 7 is a Republican District that can only be lost through GOP apathy!

[...] Myrtle Beach Alternatives ran a piece this past Sunday about Ole Smoky Moonshine and that it is now available at our local Sam’s Club. Old Smoky moonshine is of course straight from the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and while it is not the first legal moonshine available in South Carolina as Alternatives stated, (there was another brand on the shelf too) it might just be the best.
We think they are currently looking more towards a holiday opening time, not sure if early as Thanksgiving or closer to Christmas. We know that they are considering Christmas shows to launch the opening, but you'll have to contact them for verification. Try their Facebook page, The Pat Boone Theater.

Wonderful article! Wonderful performance by all at SuperStarz! Wonderful hospice organization! It is such a dream to be able to help others in our community who get assistance through the use of the monies collected at this annual function. The impact Steve Fairchild makes by having this event, is so important to all in our communities and Billy and Cheryl at DeFalco's and Cecil's Italian Grill are also so very supportive.
We could not do what we do without this event every year. Such a success so thanks to all!

I have planned the Children's Area for the Pecan Festival (Nov. 5, 2011) for years. I try to add something new each year. I am curious what plans you have for children this year at Riverfest? And where did you get the climbing wall? Thanks for your response. T.
